dc.description.abstract	In this article we discuss the unicity question of a category of non-linear differential polynomial of meromorphic function and its q-shift counterpart sharing 1 value. In this process, we employ the concepts of normal families as a tool to procure our results. We generalize and improve the results obtained by X. M. Li, H. X. Yi, Y. Shi.
