dc.description.abstract | With the wide spread use of internet, in almost all activities of human lives, searching, booking, making transactions, exchange of goods and services are all happening electronically. Every single mouse click or press of a key on the keyboard leaves behind arrays of footprints. This metadata which is due to the number of users, their transactions and frequency of usage qualifies to be classified under 'Big-data'. We propose to make use of such search related big-data to implement preference aware system that makes collaborative filtering of results in subsequent searches. There are three aspects studied here, collaborative input of data from users searching similar keywords, filtering of subsequent results based on previously stored data, automated preference awareness that adds intuition to searches made. © 2017 IEEE. | |
