Abstract: | This paper focuses on the adaptability of Google classroom teaching for the enhancement of the performance of the students' English proficiency in technical institution. The study has been conducted in the Government Engineering College, Haveri, Karnataka, with a sample size of hundred students of two branches of engineering. The concept of Preposition has been delivered to the students in both conventional and Google classroom methods. The performance of the students is evaluated by the brain storming, tests and other assessment Medias. The performance index has been set and the level of improvement has been noted. From the study it was found that there is a drastic improvement in the students' performance indices with induct of the Google classroom method. The study has also focused on the assessment of the adaptability of Google Apps for Education (GAFE) by rural/urban, male/female and Kannada/English medium samples exclusively. Moreover, the study revealed that the rural Kannada medium samples, that too the female samples have shown much improvement in Google classroom. |
